Join us to hear from Elizabeth Schy, RN, BSN Diplomate, ACLM on her personal experience with Dragon Boat Paddling. We will also have a representative from the International Breast Cancer Paddling Committee to explain the development of the sport for breast cancer survivors, history of the organization and their support for new teams.
This session is moderated by Alique Topalian, PhD is a 2-time cancer survivor. She was first diagnosed with AML in 1998 at age 4 and relapsed in March of 2021 at age 27. She is now in remission and using her voice to passionately raise awareness about the unique needs of cancer patients as a researcher in survivorship and supportive services at UC Cancer Center. This coffee talk will focus on programs and organizations that are available to you to help support your patients!
