Cancer Survivorship Provider Network (CSPN) members will be joined on April 25, 2022 by guest speaker Michelle Kirschner, MSN, RN, APRN-BC, ACNP who will discus CoC survivorship standards. This member education meeting will be held from 12:30pm – 1:30pm PST.
Michelle Kirschner, ACNP has over 25 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Interventional Cardiology, Internal Medicine, and Interventional Pulmonology. She joined the University of Cancer Center Survivorship Program in April 2016 as the first dedicated survivorship provider. She then transitioned into the Interim Survivorship Director position in April of 2018 and currently serves as Director of Program Development for Survivorship and Supportive Services. She cares for a diverse cancer population in the Consultative Survivorship Clinic. Michelle also assisted in creating a Neuro-Oncology Survivorship clinic for malignant and non-malignant brain tumor patient and a Cancer Cognitive Clinic where she is part of the clinical team.
She serves on the cancer committee and is responsible for meeting and reporting on accreditation survivorship requirements. She collaborates with oncology and referral providers in the development of innovative systems to optimize delivery and ongoing quality improvement of survivorship care
